To Be Read Shelves

I wanted to update everyone on my To Be Read shelves and how many books I still need to read. I have an unhealthy addiction to buying new books when I still have others I need to read, which has now amassed into a long list. I will say which book is on my list then say why I have not picked it up yet.

I have included my kindle books, audio books and physical books on this list.

Kindle:

Payback – Kimberly Chambers: It was a free book on Kindle when I had bought something else. It was the best out of the bunch and I chose it. However, I don’t really use my kindle a lot unless I go on holiday.

Crossed -Ally Condle: I read the series a long time ago and would need to reread matched before I pick it up the series again.

You’re the one that I want – Giovanna Fletcher: I have a physical copy of this book too and I haven’t been in the mood for a contemporary like this in a while. I’m still in the process of reading it as I have started it.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – Stieg Larsson: I was really excited to read this when it was hyped and the series was big, however more time has amassed and I just haven’t picked it up yet.

The View From The Cheap Seats – Neil Gaiman: I am actually reading this at the moment to help with my dissertation research as I love Neil Gaiman’s writing.

Pandemonium – Lauren Oliver: This one is not on the downloaded section of my Kindle at the moment but I do still have to read it. It is the same as Crossed where I started the series long ago and haven’t carried it on.

Cinder – Marissa Meyer: I am currently reading this at the moment as I am loving audio books recently.

Caraval – Stephanie Garber: I will get to this soon as I love audiobooks when I’m travelling or cleaning.

(I have finished Eve of Man now – review up on a recent blog post)

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue – Mackenzi Lee: I have started this but it is one that I probably need to concentrate more on while listening so It will be one of the next ones I pick up after Cinder

Recently I have been really enjoying Audiobooks and the freedom they allow me when travelling or walking somewhere as I get travel sick if I read on the Bus or in the car. I have listened to a lot of books in the last two months on audible.

  1. That copy of The Night Circus looks different than mine. Is it weird I want to see the cover? (And yes, I was reading all the titles on the books you posted). Anyway, I would totally read The Night Circus before Caraval. They’re pretty similar, but The Night Circus is better in my opinion.
And Shadow and Bone is WONDERFUL. I’m obsessed with Leigh Bardugo and that series.

    • There is a picture on my Instagram (readingat3am) of my copy of The Night Circus as I took a picture of the cover with some other books a little while ago. One of the reasons I picked it up is because it has sprayed red edges which I am obsessed with! Ooh thanks for the info I will certainly try to pick up The Night Circus before caraval. Shadow and Bone is one that I want to get to very soon as everyone says it’s so good. I can’t believe you made it to the end of the post whole reading every book title πŸ˜‚ I have another part of it coming soon as it would have been way too long otherwise.

      • Ohh really?! I’ll have to check it out. It sounds like a pretty cover.

Haha, yeah I’m weird. I love lists and skimming pictures of people’s bookshelves.

  2. I think it’s the UK 2012 Halloween edition but I could be wrong. 😊 It really is a pretty book and if I like it I think I may buy some more editions because they are all so beautiful!
